Looking after our brides and making them  feel fantastic is our speciality. We also do events for and had such a great night with The Wedding Club at their Carolina Herrera trunk show. Jutheanne did the make up and shared all her tips and how she created this flawless look.

"The key to a flawless complexion for the bride is a perfectly prepped skin. Using a balm (Omorovicza thermal cleansing balm) to cleanse will help not to strip off the skin’s natural oils. Remove with a hot cloth and this will cleanse the skin deeply ready to be moisturised. Using an oil free moisturiser and primer  is essential to keeping the foundation from slipping off throughout the day.

The bride needs to look as close to her natural self on the day but with a little bit of enhancement for the photography so it’s important to cover the imperfections but still be able to see skin through it.

My absolute top tip is to mix an illuminator with the foundation. After I’ve used an oil free primer (Laura Mercier Oil free Primer) I then mixed a pea sized amount of the illuminator (Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Liquid lighting in Candlelight) with the longwear foundation (Nars radiant creamy foundation) this gives balance to the dewy and radiant finish we’re recreating. Apply concealer where you need more coverage (RMS uncover up) Set this all with a translucent powder (By Terry Hyaluronic Powder) making sure there isn’t any high reflective ingredients because this will cause a flashback. I’ve used (Hourglass) brow gels on the brows on top of a pencil to hold the brows longer on skin.

Finish the look with a rosy coloured cheek (RMS liptocheek) and a lipliner in  (Laura Mercier in Potpourri) and a gloss on top.’
