We asked our platinum make-up artist Quelle for her tips on packing the perfect touch-up kit to keep you looking flawless all day long.

The perfect touch-up kit should always include blotting papers, a pressed powder and of course your chosen lip colour.

Blotting papers are best used to take away any oil that has naturally been produced on the day so that when you use your pressed powder, you don’t have an excess in texture build up which can make it look "cakey".

The best pressed powders are either translucent such as MAC Blotting Powders (available in many shades from extra light through to deep dark) or if you find that your make-up wears off around your chin and nose consider switching to a pressed powder with a tiny bit of coverage such as Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Face Finishing Powder.

Lipstick is an absolute must. You will be having more than the one kiss more on your wedding day, as well as both eating and drinking. Even the most matte, long-wearing lipstick may need a slight touch up after you’ve said ‘I Do’, so be sure to have a top up with you.

Be sure to ask your make-up artist for help putting together your touch-up kit, as they will understand what products work best with your designed look.
